TigerLIVE @ St. James Power Station

I am quite sure most of you know that St. James is one of the newest clubbing places. But during the day, it is also a museum for Tiger Beer.

We went there on National day, 8th Aug'07. There happen to be a promotion, entry tickets were at S$4.20 each pax. Basically, its kinda of like a Tiger Beer museum where it shows the history of Tiger beer, when it was founded and the usual things like the ingredients, the processes, the awards and other stuffs.

I think the best part of the tour would be the 3D show on the beer making process. You will get to sit on a moving platform with those clear 3D goggles. (its not like those with red and green goggles) It is a nice place for visit for anyone especially tourist who likes beer, there is a free complementary glass of Tiger beer. For ladies and kids, they do offer soft drinks instead. There are also a range of souvenirs like t-shits, cups, mugs, key chains and other stuffs.

FILTERING ADS IN IE7

Previously, we have AdBlock (a plugin that filters away unwanted advertisements) for Firefox, now we have AdBrick for Internet Explorer 7.

Basically, it allow you to block selected advertisements. Currently, the help manual is only avaliable in English. This could be very helpful to remove those website that are infested with advertisement that make your web browsing experience aweful.

Visit the link below on AdBrick, and download the installer.

Upon installing, you will require to restart IE7.

To list blockable items: perform a right click on IE7 and choose "List Blockable Items..."

To view the settings: press the ALT key, on the menu bar choose "Tools" | "Adbrick Settings"
